Sweet Paper is hiring a full-time retail sales associate / design specialist
The ideal candidate:

- Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience or other relevant customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in a graphic design role
- Proficient computer skills: Must be able to work on a MAC / Knowledge of Excel, Word and POS
- Knowledge of Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Retail Sales duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting customers and assisting with their purchases
- Handling retail purchases, exchanges and refunds
- Inventory management: entering new product into POS, checking stock levels and merchandising
- Maintaining stock of store supplies
- Keeping store clean and orderly, includes daily organizing, dusting, vacuuming and mopping
- Daily opening and closing duties
- Gift wrapping
- Assistance with social media: styling and taking photos, blog posts or other misc tasks
- Assisting management with other duties as needed
Design Specialist duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work closely with customers in one-on-one meetings to help them find their perfect invitation or personal stationery item (notepads, coasters, stationery, gift tags, etc.)
- Take a creative approach to customizing existing options to fit the client’s wishes
- Use your in depth knowledge of Sweet Paper vendors, products and services to provide clients the best invitation design or stationery item within their budget
- Create detailed cost estimates for clients
- Complete and submit order forms and communicate with vendors regarding orders
- Manage the proof process for custom clients
- Work with vendors throughout the production process to manage quality control and the timely delivery of client’s products
- Maintain Sweet Paper’s rigid follow up process for each custom client
- Track orders to ensure deadlines are met
- Develop relationships with clients and anticipate future stationery needs
- Design, proof and create print ready files for custom orders
- Assist owners as necessary with their custom clients or other custom projects
The position is part-time, roughly 30-40 hours per week.
MUST be available Saturdays.
